Should I buy or lease a DVR (Digital Video Recorder)?
With today’s leasing options and the current state of the economy, leasing a DVR Surveillance System may be the way to go. Most business owners look at having a Surveillance System as a want, not a need! I would disagree with their thinking and so would all of our past customers!
The first mistake business owners make is that they can’t afford to pay $8,000 for a 16 Channel DVR Surveillance System installed with cameras. Don’t get me wrong, $8,000 in today’s economy is a lot of money. But what about $380 a month for two years, $275 a month for three years, or $180 a month for five years, with the option to buy the system at the end of the lease for $1, and Free Lifetime Technical Support.
You only need an 8 Channel DVR Surveillance System, how about $262 a month for two years, $186 a month for three years, or $149 a month for five years? However you need to be careful when looking to lease a CCTV Surveillance System! There are companies with sales representatives driving around, going city to city with telemarketers making appointments trying to sell a 4 Channel DVR Surveillance System that would normally cost $2,500 and they want to lease it to you for $400 a month over two years!!!!!!! They will not tell you that it is a $2,500 System, but it’s a cheap Chinese manufactured system. Leasing can be a great tool if used properly, but no one wants to pay$8,800 for a $2,500 product.
