Going Green for Jason!

Recycle LogoThis article is to inform everyone that PCSurveillance is going Green!  It is something that the staff had started to do, but we have decided to go full force!  The final push came a couple of weeks ago when I attended a service for a friend of mine, Jason Martin, that recently lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jason passed away at the age of 37, in Broomfield, Colorado.  He leaves behind his wife Loucile and their three children, Caroline, 3, Marguerite, 1, and Theodore, 1 month.  Jason was a kind and considerate friend, father, and husband.  He always had a way of finding the best in everyone he encountered and was one of the most genuine people you would ever meet.  What I will miss the most about him is his positive attitude and big smile!  I am sure that you have a similar story about a friend or family member who has lost the battle with cancer, so I invite you to visit the website set up for Jason, http://www.RememberingJason.com.

To honor Jason and his love for nature and the outdoors, PCSurveillance will make every effort to be as Green as possible.  I am also asking for your help as vendors, customers, and friends!  Stop and think of ways you can Green your company/home, and please don’t hesitate to call or email us with additional ways we can improve.  Below is a list of things that we are doing or are in the process of completing.

  • All invoices are emailed (a hardcopy must be requested)
  • Printing with Recycled Paper
  • Reusable Printer Cartridges
  • Recycling our in house paper
  • Recycling Plastic, Metal, and Glass
  • Recycling all Cardboard Products
  • Reusing Shipping and Packing Materials

Jason, thank you for the memories, we are better for having the chance to know you.  You have reached more people than I think you could have ever imagined!
